Tell me - Why is Understanding - Under and Overview - Over?

Understanding “how selling works” is the second most important thing I know.
I have spent most of my life selling products, services ideas and points of view.
I like to think of myself as a keyboard salesman.
The keyboard is what I use to sell.
I always structure my communication based on a simple sales logic.

Attention: It is a noisy bazaar out there, before you start to communicate and sell, grab your prospect’s attention!

Interest: If you have managed to grab attention, quick, show something or do something to generate the prospect’s interest. Meanwhile the competition is screaming for his attention.

Desire: Make him smell something- make his mouth water. If you don’t do it at this stage, you will end up wasting the client’s money!

Action:

Quick, get the pen, make the bill, and get him to give you his credit card, make him sign.
Good.
On to the next.

I find that this strategy works most of the time.
A.I.D.A
Simple. Elegant. Workable.

This is not an original strategy. But using it brings great results.
My contribution lies in finding the words, the images and the evocative prose that will guide your prospect through this process, without him realizing what is happening.
